This is John Bachelor. My colleague Jeff Bliss reporting on Vegas Report, The Sphere.

The news is The Sphere is a huge hit. We knew that. Jeff reports on his attendance of two concerts at the Sphere and how spectacular it is.

What's happened though is that Sphere is reproducing itself or cloning itself, depending on

how you think of a construction as vast and silicon-based as this,

reproducing itself around the world. Jeff explains where and what's possible in future and reproducing in Vegas perhaps.

Right now for sure we know we're going to get one in Abu Dhabi.

So that's going to be the next one.

They did try to build one in London, but some of the folks in London and mixed that.

They thought it would hurt know hurt the character the surroundings

down near the canary wharf there was a big group of people said it's too much of a draw

on electricity they had concerns about green issues.

But now Vegas is actually, there's some talk about maybe bringing an additional one or two spheres there.

With the idea of thinking, you know what, let's just turn Vegas into the concert and events capital of the world.

We already have, we're becoming the sports capital of the world where the, you know, arguably

the gambling capital of the world. one of the major conference and convention centers of the world why not be the concert center of the world too and honestly I think they could do it we and I was there last week to see the Eagles at the at the sphere.

Sold out, 20,000 plus their whole run is.

Matter of fact, they just added a whole spate of new shows into March to extend their residency there and they'll all be sold out and these are not cheap tickets but they get the top notch axe in there you two they got they had a grateful dead

residency there they've got the eagles there they fill it up they've had

boxing there which was you know packed to the rafters the sphere is going to turn out to be

one of the best investments by sphere entertainment and and the other folks involved

with that as well as Vegas it's such a moneymaker.
