This is John Bachelor, conversation with my colleague Malcolm Honeline of the Conference of

Presidents Major American Jewish Organizations about Jordan.

In an incident at the Allen B Bridge crossing from Israel into Jordan a terror attack 3 KIA. This

points to the open trouble of smuggling of weapons and other bad actors in and out of Israel via

Jordan and what is to be done Malcolm speaks to that matter here.

Certainly this is alarming and will only get worse until

more tonight.

Well, Jordan is certainly not doing enough and the you've raised a very important issue because

there was an attack on the border at the Allen B bridge and three people three

Israelis were killed.

The smuggling continues from Jordan.

They seem to be doing very little to stop it and it's coming from Iran.

They get weapons into the West Bank. The rhetoric of the government has been terrible,

even though there's a peace treaty between Jordan and Israel. There's also the smuggling, especially a

of Capagon, which is going into Jordan,

where supposedly the addiction is epidemic already,

but they're also smuggling cash and weapons to the terrorist entities in the

West Bank and we've seen how extensive their entrenchment is by the raids that Israel has been carrying out just now a week-long

raid that uncovered tremendous infrastructure weapons and the arrest of many terrorists.

So there are also, these attacks are considered further evidence that the Jordan Valley poses a security threat

without a complete Jordanian trust and involvement and that seems to be lacking the demonstrations after the

killing of the three Israelis in the streets of Amman and elsewhere were of
