teaches law in NYU and the University of Chicago about the proceedings in the January 6th trial

to take place in D.C. Judge Tanya Chutkin supervising, and the strange presentation these

last days that the judge will weigh whether immunity and the other matter of challenging the appointment of the special counsel

should be taken into consideration before proceeding with

explicating the the updated indictment of Mr. Trump.

Richard comments on all this on the basis of partisanship.

This to me is just not the way in which one wants to go,

just the way I don't think it's appropriate to say when the case is

sure going to be appealed and there are many errors in the record

and that Trump is a convicted felon.

He is not convicted until the proceedings are over.

But this is all a rhetorical flourish

in order to make the criminal case dominate the elections, where I think what you really

have to do is to worry about the Trump program and the Harris programs and put all this other

side. So I think in effect this is a huge public disservice it diverts attention from the issues that do matter in an upcoming election and what they does is it simply solace the judicial process.

Let me make it very clear if Miss Harris wants to say

well this is a guy who's been indicted this is a guy who's not to be trusted I don't

think he should ever be president of the United States she's imperfectly
