There are Iraqi Shia firing rockets and drones at Israel. There are Saudi Shia firing rockets and drones at Israel, or being present when such are fired.

There are even boasting by the Iraqi Shia

or the Saudi Shia that they fired some of those drones or rockets from within Saudi territory.

This is not as straightforward as Hamas versus Israel, Hezbollah versus Israel.

This is a confusion in what used to be called the Shia crescent running from Iran right through to Lebanon.

What we've seen is a Iraqi-based group calling itself the Islamic resistance in the land of the two holy mosques, meaning Saudi Arabia,

and they've been firing drones at Israel.

So to make things a little simpler for the listener, we have Iraqi groups that are backed by Iran,

and they have some Saudi Shia amongst them like a Saudi

oppositionists and those Saudis are trying to demonstrate we're also part of the anti-Israel

access we are representing Saudi Arabia and they even claimed that they managed to sneak over

the border from Iraq into Saudi Arabia
