Statecraft, about the news that the U.S. has launched a drone strike in West Baghdad against leadership of the Kataib Hezbollah,

the Iranian-backed Iraqi militia said to be responsible for attacks tax on the American sponsored outposts in the tribe order

region of Iraq, Syria, and Jordan.

The news is confirmed as best it can given the fog of war. This is inside Iraq and until they

even comments on this strike and what it means for Iraq, for Iran, and for the United States, these many years later

after the U.S. withdrew from Iraq. A strike against people in Iraq, presumably Iraqis, in the city of Baghdad by the U.S. we presume

in response to the attacks on the US

outposts in Iraq, Syria and Jordan, we presume.

I mention that this is a decapitation strike.
