about the report that Iran is practicing political intervention in the United States chiefly

against the re-election of Donald Trump. Benham explains how and why and what

the capabilities are of the Iranian regime and measures it

against the other bad actors that would be Russia China and North Korea other bad

actors in the information space.

It depends.

I think the information space is a space we're going to have to watch.

Traditional spearfishing email campaigns is something we're going to have to watch.

And in general, hacking espionage in the cyber domain are domains we're going to have to watch.

This is a regime that is perhaps not as sophisticated as the Russians are Chinese, but growing in sophistication in this space.

And it's particularly where quantity has a quality of its own.

Unless we forget it was a spearfishing attempt by the regime in

20-20 when they last intervened in our presidential elections and they were able to

spoof or successfully at least impersonate what they knew to be the proud boys to drive

voters to vote in the opposite direction to drive progressive left-leaning voter turnout.

So one, the Islamic Republic, despite hitting Americans of all stripes and meaning death

to America every time it says it, actually understands that it might be able to limp along under a Democratic presidency.

That's a partisan political problem we're going to have to contend with.
