This is John Batcher. Conversation with my colleague Bill Rajov the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy

about the attacks on American forces in Jordan, in Syria, and Iraq over these last weeks and now deadly attack, 3kIA,

at the base called Tower 22.

The question is, why are we there?

Bill talks about the mission against ISIS but asks some very

good questions about how do we combat ISIS while at the same time dealing with

incoming from Iraq-based Iran-backed militias with

missiles, drones, very effective. Where do they get them from? We can guess Iran. So Bill identifies the problem.
