This is John Bachelor, conversation with John Bolton, former National Security Advisor about what is to be done the Iran attack on Jerusalem on Israel with rockets and missiles, ballistic missiles and drones.

The Spolten's recommending deterrence through strain.

He is unhappy with the administration's response today and so far from the weekend.

The recommendation of course begins with their defenses, but here John describes the

quandary we're in, the administration is keen on re-election, and Iran is keen

on threatening Israel, perhaps again.

And Israel has vowed to retaliate what is to be done.

It is not substantial, but the way it could come out,

that come about the scenario I could see is because of a weak American administration

and weak support from the Europeans.

Unintentionally, the two conflicts could grow together.

China could begin to take advantage of our lack of bandwidth by doing something

provocative in Asia and faced with a president who can only think in terms of the November election, which motivates

a lot of what he says about the least, fear of higher gasoline prices, fear of losing core democratic constituencies.

The country looks rudderless at the moment.
