Konekis, who is in Israel looking very carefully for the

foundation of the defense of democracies at the next phase of the conflict with Iran.

That would be Hezbollah.

Often mentioned that from the northern border to the Latani River is important territory for the IDF to control.

It does not now.

The border is abandoned by everyone all civilians because of the rocketing and the threat of

special forces from the Hezbollah crossing and conducting murder rates. Here Jonathan Conricus identifies why the Lutani River

and its limitations. In other words, the idea of pushing the Hezbollah beyond the lutani is not the only answer for the war of the

north.

Yeah it's a geographical boundary about 12, 13 miles from the Israeli border, which has symbolic significance. It doesn't have the most important significance

that it has is that if Hezbollah terrorists are beyond that area then it would be

very difficult for them to do an October 7th style attack against Israeli civilians living in Northern Israel.

That I think is the only importance of it.

Other than that, just as Malcolm said before, everything else that Hezbollah has in

their arsenal, their massive arsenal, rockets, drones, missiles, projectiles, all of those are

well capable of firing from beyond the Littani River inside Lebanon and still striking deep inside Israeli territory.

So with today's weapons, that distance has only one importance and that is not having

Iranian proxy fighters on the border within running distance from Israeli civilians

and in order to prevent an October 7th style type of atrocity.
