This is a conversation with Edmund Fitton Brown, former ambassador from the United King to me,

Yemen, former official at the United Nations examining the remains, the origins, and the violence of the ISIS the al-Qaeda and other bad

actors in the Middle East speaking of the huthies who are camped in North Yemen

firing missiles at the Red Sea traffic and are now in the

conversation with Iran and Russia were told to acquire anti-ship missiles from

the Russian arsenal.

Asking Edmund Fitten-Brown, is there more that can be done by the US Navy, by the British

Navy, by the French Navy, to stop the harassing of Red Sea traffic and really the inhibition of the

global economy to function?

His answer is blunt.

Yes, and. Is Edmund Vitten Brown speaking of what can be done with the

huthies and rules of engagement. More of this tonight. They can be. We have

had very self-denying rules of engagement so far and you will have seen a lot of talk about how we've made these attacks on huthy capability and no one was hurt in the process. We need to relax those rules. We need to go after

them much more forcefully, as indeed Israel did after the attack in Israel where they then

attack the Port of Hadea.

And the other thing we should do is revise our Yemen policy

and look again at whether we should not be more wholeheartedly

supporting the internationally recognized government.
