Conversation with Malcolm Holin, my good colleague just back from the Middle East, about the

Huthies.

The Huthies in North Yemen are regarded as also rans in the contest underway since the Hamas

attack of October 7th. However Malcolm is reporting that the Iranian

Revolutionary Guard Corps senior officers observed exercises

by the Huthies and that they are sophisticated offense and defense and are threatening in the event of war with Hezbollah, Northern Israel. Israel

Israel must confront the Hezbollah, peppering the north with rockets and missiles and drones. In the event of war with Hezbollah,

the Houthis have a plan to attack Jerusalem, attack Israel directly with their long-range

rockets and to defend themselves, even from US Navy and British Navy.

In fact, there's an element of attacking the British Navy and the Huthy plans which they're announcing. Malcolm Hone Line on the Huthies of North Yemen, with

war game just this these last few days and it was very extreme and people uh...

Iranian officials the chief of the general staff and others were there to watch it.

But the name of the operation was operational Oxus Storm, of course a reference to Jerusalem,

and it's the name that was given to the October 7th outrage and brutal attack and

these war games come on the backdrop of the government saying that they're going to strike the Israeli occupation

if the war breaks out with Hezbollah and if the war breaks out at other places and they showed

models aggressive of assaults not just on Israeli but also a British enemy

encampments as well have been targeting the United States and the shipping.

They have not stopped any of the attacks we've seen actually in escalation and what they want to do is first have this

offensive from the exercises offensive phase and then move into a defensive phase
