This is John Batchelor. Is this the end of UNRWA, the very, very untrustworthy UN agency that is

administered the Gaza Strip and other parts of the Middle East for many years, despite the evidence of

it being penetrated by the bad actors? I mean the jihadists, I mean the Palestinian terrorists.

Is this the last of UNRWA after the revelations in the Gaza conflict of it cooperating,

helping, aiding, commanding the same as Hamas?

Right now they look like they're on life support.

I think that the Trump administration is already doing, you know,

significant cost-benefit analysis of all of the aid that we

disperse. Unra, I think, is at the top of that list. I think Marco Rupio, the Secretary of State,

is not interested in providing support to UNRWA. The Israelis have already banned it from operating

inside the Gaza Strip. I think the real question is whether it continues to operate

in places like Jordan and Lebanon, where there are additional Palestinians claiming refugee status.

It may be that they operate there on funds provided by the international community,

but I don't believe you're going to see U.S. funds flowing, and I don't think you're going to see Israel

reversing its decision.
