This is John Bachelor speaking with Jerry Dunleavy and James Hassan, their book Cabell, the untold story of

Biden's fiasco. Jerry gives us a definition terms of art and he sets the

landscape of Afghanistan in August of 2021 prior to the catastrophe of the evacuation.

He explains how the State Department and the Administration and the military all tried to adjust, but too late, to the obligation to evacuate or offer evacuation to the tens of thousands of

Afghans who had participated in the American and NATO effort over the decades, two decades, to help Afghanistan.
