This is John Batcher, a conversation with my friend Gregory Coppley, who is a member of the Commonwealth in Australia National, about the Royals, especially the King and his Air, the Prince of Wales. There is a book out, a gossip book, looking

to in some fashion dent or damage or smear the royalty. It comes to me is that the king and his heir are burdened

without asking for it throughout their lives and they're admirable accordingly.

Gregory has a much longer view.

He's watched monarch since George the 6th passed away

and Queen Elizabeth ascended.

And his measure is that King Charles, especially having prepared himself for many

years watching his mother, is bringing imagination, creativity, and energy to the kingship.

Long may he reign.

Western Australia, on the crown. Well, yes, we've seen massive shock, horror, gossip situations arrived in the past around the monarchy and actually I've now my first monarch was King George the sixth so I remember him and his and the funeral when he passed the Baton to Queen

Elizabeth second and so on but yes it's an enormous responsibility we've seen

crises before we saw the dramatic crisis of the

abdication of King Edward the 8th in the late 1930s, passing power to his

younger brother who became King George the sixth.

So this sort of stuff from Harry and this young gossip journalist Ahmed Skobee is not going to break the monarchy.

It's going to be annoying, it's going to be distracting, and it is going to be distracting and it is going to fuel the rumor mill it's going to make some people

who are either ambivalent or anti-monarchy, give them something to gossip about, but it doesn't address

the substance.

And whilst we see King Charles coming into a very dynamic phase of the monarchy.

He's brought about massive changes already

when it was thought that he would be a short time and not imaginative monarch. He's proven to be extremely imaginative,
