What does Russia want?

but the larger story Gregory provides, is that of a strategic success for Russia

and its allies, that would be Tehran, Beijing, chiefly, that this part of the world, world island Eurasia is now outside of the

ability of the United States the West and its NATO allies to influence to

dominate to dictate to to

influence to dominate, to dictate, to drive the outcome.

Now this part of the world is, if not exactly free-floating,

certainly available to the offices of the Kremlin of the

forbidden city.
