This is John Batser from a much longer conversation with Josh Rogan of the Washington Post who writes

global opinions. I asked Josh what he's worried about in these next 24 hours, what he's most

focusing on. He mentions, as we've discussed at length, the people in the Gaza Strip who are

waiting to be fed and have water and electricity and other neat necessities. They've been in the

south of the Gaza Strip for days, and the food trucks are on the other side of the wire,

the Rafa crossing is called. It's a semi-destroyed village that's split between the Gaza Strip and Egypt.

This all used to be Egypt. On the other side of the Rafa crossing, which is now closed,

is the Sinai, a vast landscape, where the million or more people could easily abide

with the facility set up quickly. But we're told that Cairo won't permit it. There's a big

meeting in Cairo tomorrow. Josh and I discuss its prospects. Immediately, however, Josh

mentions right at the close of our conversation that the attacks on American bases in Iraq and

elsewhere across the Ummah are increasing, and they're much worse, they're much more,

than the Pentagon is so far explaining. Attacks on the American bases time to

provoke time to offset. Is it Iran? Is it local militias attached to Iran? Is it Syria? Unknown.

Josh details some of what he sees and what he'll be writing about. I can only guess in the next

days. Here's Josh. Yeah, no. At some point, some trucks have got to start rolling, or it's

going to be a real horrible crisis situation inside the south of Gaza, where a million internally

displaced people are also happened to be evacuating. What I'm worried about in the next 24,

36 hours are the attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria, and there have been a series of them,

that a half dozen. More than the Pentagon has acknowledged, I'm here to tell you, and having

talked to people on the ground, it places like the Al-Tamf garrison at it, and Al-Ambar airbase in Iraq,
