| 0:00.0 | This is John Bachelor, from a longer conversation with my colleague Andrew McCarthy of the National |
| 0:05.1 | Review Online. We look at the testimony by the director of the FBI Christopher Ray, |
| 0:11.2 | but the jihadist threat during the Gaza war during the Ukraine war right now. |
| 0:16.6 | And the director is alarmed at the scale that he's facing now, |
| 0:21.9 | and he speaks well of what has improved in the last 30 years since first the US was attacked |
| 0:26.9 | in the late 20th century by Al-Qaeda. And then again he worries about what we don't know |
| 0:33.0 | about the adversary. This is Al-Qaeda, ISIS, Palestinian Islamic jihad. |
| 0:40.1 | There are so many groups, there's so many possible threats. And we're also looking at the |

| 1:34.7 | intelligence sharing and information sharing. I think that in the post 9-11 decades, |
| 1:41.6 | the information sharing between the intelligence community of which the FBI is a component |
| 1:48.9 | and the law enforcement side of the FBI, as well as ground up, because the biggest force |
| 1:54.8 | multipliers in national security are local and municipal police agencies and the public that |
| 2:03.2 | gives them information. So from the ground up to the FBI and from the FBI building out to the |
| 2:10.2 | intelligence community, our information sharing is night and day better than it was 30 years ago. |
| 2:17.5 | So that's the good news. The bad news, I think, is that the number of actors has gotten |
