rate by half a point as opposed to the expected quarter point what's wrong with the

economy the concern might be jobs, it might be a re-emergence of inflation.

Money cheaper than it was a week ago and more of this tonight.

I mean it because don't forget it's happened before and the reason

J Powell presumably was slow to start cutting rates.

Let's remember this wasn't, you know, an unheard of idea.

The reason he was reluctant to cut rates is because of exactly this, the possibility that inflation, which after all is not yet 2%,

although it's certainly close to it. And by the way, we'll get a big read on that Friday.

The PCE number comes out but the you know we're still we're still

tracking that that inflation number and hoping that it stays under two and a

half three percent because that's kind of where it is.
