Quarter point has been established as the way up and the way down. However, this tells me that there is a

trend on Wall Street suddenly. More than 50% of the cognizante believed that the move could be a half a point, which would be surprising.

The question here is, a quarter point or a half a point is going to move the market right before an election, move it in a positive way is the expectation.
