Conversation. This is an excerpt with Josh Roggan of the Washington Post rights global opinions

about the decision by the State Department followed by nine or ten other

contributors to UNRWA's budget to stop further funding following the

information provided by Israeli authorities that 12 of

the UNRWA workers in Gaza participated in the massacre, the outrage of October 7th, 12 of them.

Tourists said to be dead.

The cutoff is for funds not already obligated, but future funds would be somewhere in a month of February.

Josh reminds me in his explanation that the recipients of the aid, food and drugs and health care, are not all living in

Gaza, 3 million of the recipients live in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria.

Therefore, the cutoff seems arbitrary and ill-timed given the needs of all of the Palestinians, especially those who have been dishomed

in Gaza.

So in coming days, we'll see as this story moves along. Josh explains about the scale of it.
