ESG, environment, social, and green.

What we're looking at here is the market underperforming in ESG and the market

masters turning away from ESG which was a strong sales item some years ago.

No longer.

Why did that happen?

Liz explains very carefully.

Could it happen again?

You bet.

The excitement about AI could turn into draws. That is the marketplace.

tonight yes g well something very easy happened if you're a money manager and you jumped aboard the

ESG train and all of a sudden your performance went way below average you're losing

clients and that is basically what happened. We had a couple of years

where if you weren't involved for example invested in energy stocks when those

really did very well you you were way behind.

And so I think corporate America kind of got their heads put back together

and realize that what's really important to investors is earnings and growth and not social goodness.

And you know, look, there are a lot of ESG funds out there.

People want to invest for other than monetary gain, by all means to go there but it's actually never

been the case I remember when this whole ESG thing started which is a long time

ago now by the way.
