This is John Batchel, a conversation with my colleague Malcolm Honline. We welcomed Emma Jarbo of the Syrian American Society and the Sueda American Society,

commenting on what we know and what we want to know about the tragedy ongoing in Syria,

what is reported to be a massacre by the Syrian National Army elements,

former jihadis in the Alshara government administration regime in Damascus.

This is Emma Jarbo telling us what she's learned.

On the phone, she's in Texas.

Her family's in Sweda province, southernmost part of Syria, bordering Jordan.

And the tragedy, although it's difficult to summarize,

is that the jihadis are murdering unarmed,

Druze civilians because they're Druze minority in Syria.
