This is John Batcher, conversation with my good colleague Bob Zimmerman. I learned that North Korea,

Kim Jong-un, the dictatorship, the Hermit Kingdom, is developing a space board on its coast that is of significance. Ever since the visit between

at Vastachny and in Vladivostak between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-An, the North Korean Space Program has accelerated, including a successful

satellite launch after several failures.

It appears that Russia gave some clues, guidance, perhaps lent some technicians.

Right now the space port is the future for North Korea.

Bob reports very carefully, this is not to be sneered at the next combat zone is

low-Earth orbit I am told more of this later. Thank you.

Yes, there was a really good detailed article using orbital photography of the space

sport that North Korea is building on its western coast.

It's called the Soha Spaceport, essentially.

And so I linked to it on behind the black

and provided a map to show you where in North Korea this is.

It's on its western coast and this is not a small deal.

The aerial photography says they're building at least a second launch pad, major underground

facilities, and it really does look like they're developing this as a launch pad for putting

up orbital satellites as well as for launching missiles and it looks pretty extensive the work going on.

So North Korea might be bankrupt nation that it people starve but every dime they've

got they scared to be putting into this major operation and so we should not

take this nonchalantly.
