have never sort of been a straight line with the establishment.

Think about Arlen Specter.

He was a Republican.

Think about he certainly wasn't within the orthodoxy of the Republican Party and

eventually became a Democrat.

There is also Rick Santorum and Pat Toomey.

None of these elected officials, Ed Rendell, Tom Ridge, they've all been sort of out there.

And I just think it's sort of the Appalachian way.
