Charles assesses that Xi Jinping, the absolute boss of communist China,

disregards Justin Trudeau, disregards China. Much more of this tonight.

I think that that's certainly the way the relationship is seen. And Mr. Trudeau regards himself as

a peer of Mr. Xi, and Mr. C really sees him as a lesser

figure, a weak figure that can be manipulated and admonished and can be subjected to these kinds of

very brutal diplomatic tactics.

You know, and that may indeed be indicative of the global perception of Canada as a nation that hasn't been able to allocate resources, to defend itself properly and whose internal

policies have led to quite a weakened

country with lack of purpose and amenable to foreign manipulation and influence.
