This is John Batchel. There is a report not confirmed that the United States is lifting the millions of dollars of reward on the head of a man named Sir Juran Hakani, who is a member of the government in Kabul and linked to the Haqqani network of the Taliban of these many years

responsible for, as Bill Rajo reports, thousands of American deaths.

The question is, is that report accurate and what does it mean?

Allowing a man who's that bloody-minded to be free of the pursuit of justice.

Oh, that's a great question.

And what we're doing and what we have been doing,

I'd liken this deal, if, again, if this is true, with the U.S. removing the reward for Abu Muhammad

Al-Jalani, who now calls himself Ahmed al-Shara, he's the head of the Hayat Tahir al-Sham,

which governs Syria.

It seems that if you win, you're a jihad, murderous, jihadist,

who's especially designated global terrorist who leads a foreign terrorist organization.

All you have to do is take over your country and you'll get removed from the list.

That's the message the U.S. is sending. You know, maybe the CIA doesn't forget,

but there's been ample opportunities to kill Sir Rajud and Hukani, particularly when he traveled

overseas to Saudi Arabia, to the UAE. I think, I'd like to think that our government and that the military, that the CIA

have long memories, that they, you know, keep these lists and want to avenge those, in the

case of Afghanistan, which the regime of Connie has been involved with,

the death of, he's complicit in the death of thousands of Americans.
