We spoke with Mike Wagonheim, Senior U.S. Correspondent I-24 News, that's Israel.

We spoke of the Bowman-Latimer race in Westchester County,

won by Latimer.

Bowman was a controversial figure

and became more so during the campaign making remarks that were

clearly meant to be provocative about Israel.

Mike draws several lessons from this and especially for the Democratic Party's

center, the moderate Democrats. Here's Mike Wagonheim, political reporter,

You know, the Bowman, it got so much attention, number one, because there was so much

money poured into it and simply because Bowman is a higher profile

representative from a major media area but most of those members of this so-called

squad the hard progressive anti-Israel left are pretty comfortably ensconced in their seats

and aren't really facing competitive re-election campaigns. I think the outlier in that is

Corey Bush down in St. Louis.

So I'm not really sure what kind of trends we're really looking at here in terms of the vote

when it comes to anti-semitism itself. I think the the downfall of

Jamal Bowman certainly sent a message. I think it sent a message of the strength that AIPAC and pro-Israel groups can have when they want to use it.

And I think it also sent a message to maybe middle of the road, Democrats. a
