new Coffee with Hitler, the Untold Story of the Amateur Spies who tried to civilize the Nazis. It's after Crystal knock. There are no secrets anymore,

not from the people watching Hitler. The brutality in Germany is well known in America in London in the cabinet in London.

Meanwhile our heroes, Conwell Evans and the others, continue to report that the connection, the Anglo-German Fellowship

Connection is producing first-rate information about Germany preparing for

conquest of other nations.

But is it getting through to the cabinet?

Are they listening?

After Crystalknock, that's November of 38.

What's ahead is the over running of Czechoslovakia and

then finally the launch of the war a year hence at the end of 39. Here Charles describes how Conwell Evans was getting information to

the cabinet but more of this later. They certainly see the conclusions of those

documents and unusually Conwell Evans is referenced in Cabinet minutes which was a

fascinating discovery which I don't think anyone had spotted before and is unusual.

Normally in cabinet minutes they just say sources inform us X, Y and Z or the relevant department

tells us ABC but they actually mentioned

T. P. Comwell Evans the secretary of the Anglo German Fellowship had a meeting with

Ribbentrop and and informs us X, Y and Z.

So the intelligence was getting through.

My argument is it just wasn't necessarily being acted on.
