This is John Bachelor, conversation with colleague Chris Regal of scholar.com about the artificial

intelligence and what drives it, the machinery that makes the chips that builds the possibilities of large language

models that leaves everyone to think the future is here, just not well

distributed, as the paraphrase.

Chris vouches for T.S.M.C.

The irony is that it's in an extremely vulnerable geopolitical location

outside of Taipei or part of the Taipei complex.

It makes chips at the very high end the designs by NVIDIA on machines built by ASML of Europe.

SML of Europe has disappointed the market momentarily

because of adjustments in its production

and possibilities for 25.

All of that will iron itself out. What is irreplaceable?

Nothing but T.S.M.C. Klums close right now and given the threats, routine threats from the People's Republic of China

it's a concern. Later I asked Chris about the possibility of reproducing

T.S. M. C. It's years in the making. It's possible, but it's years in the making.

So John, as long as peace continues to hold around Taiwan,

CSMC will continue to build the most profitable highest-end chips for companies like NVIDIA.

The fear is always that whose Chinese war exercises become actual war.

That being said, T.S.M.C. is a very unique company. Anything can be duplicated. However, it would take a

decade or more to duplicate the skill sets of T.S. M. So not irreplaceable, but not
