to the meeting.

Now, President Trump mentioning America's farmers, especially soybean farmers after China has refused

to purchase American soybeans as part of the ongoing trade war between China and the U.S.

Now here in Malaysia, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Trump's top trade representative, James and Greer, met with their Chinese counterparts, hoping to firm up a trade agreement with China by the time Trump and she meet in South Korea.

And President Trump was infuriated earlier in the month after Beijing imposed new export controls on rare earths used in high tech and threatened to hike retaliatory tariffs to sky high levels.

The government shut down meantime, heading into another week with no end in sight.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries demanding House Republicans return to Washington

to negotiate on a bipartisan spending measure to reopen the government.

The House GOP is on recess since passing their clean bill to keep the government open

through November 21st, but the measure has failed repeatedly in the Senate,

with Democrats stressing they won't support a bill that does not
