We'll hear what it was about that donor that made the surgery unique in just around half an hour's

time. First, though, President Trump's timetable for ending the war in Ukraine has had a certain

elastic quality. According to President

Zelensky, the United States has now set a new deadline of June because the administration wants

the situation sorted well ahead of November's midterm elections in America. The Ukrainian leader made

his comments as he confirmed that he would be sending a delegation to Miami

for the latest round of US-brokered talks with Russia. Three-way discussions in Abu Dhabi over the past few days have not resulted in any visible breakthrough.

What has been visible in Ukraine is the damage caused by the latest Russian attacks on its critical energy facilities.

Mr Zensky said that more than 400 drones and around 40 missiles had targeted key parts of

the national grid overnight, leaving millions of people without power.

Katerina Malafieva is a journalist who lives in Kiev, and she told the BBC what life

has been like.

At home, the heating is completely cold. The radiator is cold, but at least there is no steam like it was last week.

You could see the steam coming out of your mouse because it's so cold.

And, yeah, so basically the situation is difficult for all members of this part of the city.
