affected by a number of coming issues, tariff discussions, international conflicts, the midterm

elections. How might opinions of the Trump administration change over the next year or so?

There's a lot of hope. There's a lot of encouragement. And this economy and the strength and its

overall well-being will, as always does, be the overriding factor

heading into next year's midterms.

Tariffs, job numbers, interest rates, all of it are impacting the economic picture,

and yet the American small business powers through looking for carrots, resources, and hope.

There's this idea that tariffs are going to destroy the economy, and I just, if I can be very candid, I just don't see it.

And I'm Joe Concha. I've got the final word on the Fox News rundown.

The Trump administration has a lot of irons in the fire right now. The efforts to broker peace in the world's hotspots, tariff negotiations with more than a few countries. Meanwhile,

here at home, there is the specter of the midterm elections a bit more than a year away

while trying to stabilize the U.S a bit more than a year away,

while trying to stabilize the U.S. economy.

On that last point, White House National Economic Advisor Kevin Hassett said on Fox News Sunday,

there are going to be ups and downs.

I think with the economy, it's really important to keep our eyes on the horizon,

and the eyes on the horizon are seeing really smooth sailing ahead. We've got 3% GDP growth. And yes, this week, a disappointing jobs number. That number, just 73,000 jobs created in July. But still there is the belief that

what the president is doing with the economy has more than satisfied many of the millions who voted him back into office.

Well, six months and two weeks into the president's term, there's a lot of really positive signs.
