President Trump had his first campaign rally, without a mask, since testing positive for Covid-19. He told the Florida crowd he feels “powerful” and would “kiss everyone.” Those comments come as cases across the country are rising and U.S. deaths near 215,000. Dr. Anthony Fauci, a White House Coronavirus Task Force Member, says holding political rallies is “asking for trouble.” Dr. Aileen Marty is an Infectious Disease Expert at Florida Atlantic University and she tells Anderson Cooper events like the Trump rally will cause more cases and the messaging is “completely wrong.” Plus, Tony Green supports President Trump and thought the coronavirus was a hoax until he had a family gathering at his house in June and all six people, including him, tested positive for Covid-19. 0:00.0	Good evening. We begin tonight with two facts. One, as of tonight, more than 214,000 Americans
0:06.1	died of the coronavirus. And two, in the face of that fact, the President of the United
0:09.7	States is at the first what could be daily mass rallies between now and election day.
0:14.2	A bear in mind, the country is now averaging nearly 50,000 new infections a day and where
0:18.3	he is right now, Florida has a positivity rate of 11%. The president, just a week out
0:23.7	of the hospital and whose medical status is still largely unknown, has kicked off what
0:27.8	could be a COVID super spreader tour.
0:50.7	Yeah, but he didn't do that. He stayed far away. The president tonight in Florida, at one
0:57.6	point, he threw mass out into the crowd. And yes, as it's been at many of his rallies,
1:01.4	many of the people who were on camera standing behind him, did cover their faces, but not
1:05.9	all. In fact, mass squaring was more the exception than the rule and what was a very
1:09.6	large crowd, as you can see. And perhaps it shouldn't surprise anyone, the president
1:13.6	is okay with that. And it's okay with these large gatherings as long as he's not anywhere
1:17.6	close to the actual people. Here's the head of the coronavirus task force by the president
1:22.3	Pence this weekend, also in Florida at a mass gathering, the state's largest retirement
1:26.8	community. And in case there's any doubt that the people around the president are also
1:30.8	acting as if the pandemic isn't really worth bothering with or protecting others from,
1:35.6	here's his chief of staff at the Capitol today refusing to talk to CNN's Christian Wilson
1:39.4	unless he can take his mask off first.
