I was sharing with some of the people as we were walking down that, um, interesting fact that

my grandfather, Alva Cutterback, uh, went to Brown almost 100 years ago. He graduated in 1929,

and he was in a fraternity, the name of which I do not recall recall but I was pointing out if you know

the building that's right not too far from here that has the the Wong house

in the basement and on the first floor of it one's kitchen that that building

now you'll see it when you go by that actually is the very building that was

their fraternity house a very very long time ago be interesting very interesting

to see what the course of studies was like at Brown back in the day but in any

case we have a very exciting topic before us one that one that I consider, well, and I hope that you will find, to be very significant.

So our title is Preparing for Life and a Household, a Biblical and Tomistic Perspective.

So I gave you a handout.

If you don't have the handout, that is okay.

I will, but I like to refer to quotations.

If you want to renew human life,

begin in the home. And my suggestion for you here today is if you want to prepare

for human life, prepare for human life in the home, there is no better way to prepare for life than to prepare for life in a household.
