It's time to get out on the high wire. We're going to be talking some real

truth today. I've got an amazing show coming up later in the show. I've got

Kip Anderson who directed the groundbreaking documentary What the Health? We're

going to be talking about that. Judy Micavitz is going to be coming in to talk

about a very very alarming study that's just come out and been published about

contamination and cell lines. But first I think the biggest story of the week

really if you are a pregnant mother and you live in the United States of America

you better look out because you are going you're dying of alarming rates.

That's right. It just came out in this paper that was called What's Killing

America's New Mothers by Annalisa Morelli. And this article points out the fact that

we have more pregnant mothers die in the United States of America than every other

industrialized nation in the world. This sounds like another story I'm always talking

about that we have more babies dying on the first day of life than every other

industrialized nation in the world. But now it's mothers now pregnant mothers

are at risk and the numbers are really really alarming. In fact what they found

out was that while every other industrialized nation is dropping their numbers

of maternal deaths America's deaths in maternal mothers is on the rise.
