Hello and welcome to another edition of the Nix Film School pregame show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it's time to preview the Knicks upcoming matchup against the New Orleans

Pelicans, or not. So here's a deal. I decided to go a little outside the box and get creative

with this pregame pod. While the Knicks do have a game on Friday night, it does not matter to

them in the standings. In fact, the only way it can technically matter

is if somebody gets hurt, which is not something I want to preview or even put into the universe,

they're going to be perfectly healthy. And while I don't put down anybody's right to enjoy all

the Obie Topin and Deuce McBride and Quentin Grimes and Emmanuel quickly minutes that you're

going to get tonight, enjoy it. It's going to be awesome. I hope it's just like the other night

against the Pacers, a track meet at LA Fitness on a Saturday morning. Having said that, because the

game technically does not matter to the standings, I'm going to hold off on having a conversation with someone from New Orleans

until both teams have games that matters next season.

And instead,

the most important game to the Knicks franchise on Friday night

is happening in Dallas.

So I went and got Grant Aveseth from...

It's called Dallasbasketball.com, which is basically

Sports Illustrated's fan, uh, specific site, um, for Dallas, for the Dallas Mavericks.

Um, in fact, there might be all of, uh, all of Dallas, but regardless, he's a credentialed

reporter.

He was at the scrum the other day where Mark Cuban was available and said some things.

So I went and got him to join me to talk about everything that's happened in Dallas this season.
