Hello, everybody and welcome to another edition of the Knicks Film School pregame show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it is time to preview the pivotal NBA Cup matchup on Tuesday night between the New York Knicks and the Orlando Magic to set the stage for those uneducated.

Both teams are 3-0 in group play, and the winner will win their group round and clinch a spot in the NBA Cup

quarterfinals.

One of the eight teams that will clinch a spot, the winner of tonight wins their group

in the NBA Cup and sends themselves to the big dance.

The loser still has a chance, some tiebreakers involved.

It doesn't look good for the Knicks because two of their NBA Cup wins are by two points against the Nets and one point against the Hornets.

But this ends up working out as a playoff game for the month of December.

So shout it to the NBA for putting some added stakes on a very good matchup between two Eastern Conference teams

that as of right now sit in the third and fourth spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

However, before the season, you might have thought the Knicks would be the three seed and

the magic coming in at fourth, especially after Palo Boncaro went down.

But this magic team is off to a very

impressive 15 and 7 start. Have not lost a game at home yet this season. Although they're

currently on a very weird road trip over the Thanksgiving holiday. It's Brooklyn, Brooklyn,

Knicks, Philly, Philly, a Northeast 10-day road trip for the Orlando Magic. So we'll see how they do on this

road trip against two teams that have overachieved, or I guess one team that's overachieved

in the nets, and then obviously our Knicks, and then they head down south to hopefully hand

two more back-to-back elves to the 76ers.

I'm intrigued by this magic team. I've been impressed by them over the last two years.

And one of the best parts about the Knicks' magic matchup is that I get to welcome on one of my good friends from the sixth man show, Mr. Kevin Tucker. Kevin, how are you, my friend?
