Hello and welcome to another edition of the Knicks Film School pregame show.

My name is Andrew Claudio, aka GMAC, and it's time to wrap up Ravelry Week with a matchup across the river against Little Brother, the Brooklyn Nets.

Now, I say that with self-awareness, that Little Brother is much more successful and has much higher expectations, at least in the short term than we do.

We are Cooper Manningning and they are a combination

of Peyton and Eli. Nevertheless, the obvious connections between the two teams, this being a

legitimate inner city rivalry between New York and Brooklyn, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving chose

them over us, which no matter what happens off the court, will still be a wrinkle and a connection between the rivalry.

I'd argue it's the one that actually turned it into a rivalry for me, which you'll hear about that in just a second.

There's these two other connections, these droughts, these streaks that exist.

The Knicks have never beaten Ben Simmons.

I'm not sure who knew that.

The Knicks have never beaten Ben Simmons in a basketball game throughout his entire career.

And it's not like this is Luca that they've never beaten.

Or how about this?

Kevin Durant that they've never beaten or how about this, Kevin Durant that they've

never beaten, but they might have a chance to actually end that streak. They've done that a lot

this season, ending long-time droughts, whether it's winning in Denver or winning in Toronto. They

might finally get to beat Ben Simmons if he plays in this game.

They've also never beaten Kyrie Irving as a member of the Nets.

They also haven't beaten Kevin Durant, who obviously will not play in this game because

he's still nursing that knee injury.
