Summary

Mia Zapata was the lead singer for the Seattle based punk band "The Gits". In 1993, the band was on the verge of signing a major record deal with Atlantic Records.  However, before the contract could be signed, Mia Zapata was found murdered.  Her murder would remain unsolved for over 10 years.

Hi everyone and welcome to another episode of History Deweeps. My name is Tim. The topic of our podcast today is the murder of Mia Zapata.
