Hi everyone and welcome to another episode of History Deweeps. My name is Tim. The topic of our podcast today is the murder of Mia Zapata.

Mia Zapata was a singer for a punk rock band on the verge of superstardom back in the 90s when

she was tragically murdered and we're going to talk about Mia and her life and her untimely demise.

We first, though, would like to dedicate this podcast to one of our listeners, Hiro. Hiro,

started to listen to our podcast. About six months ago, he was an active member of our

Facebook group. He was a kind guy, a gentle guy, very funny, very sweet.

And unfortunately, this week, had a tragic accident and he passed away.

So we want to dedicate this episode to him.

We have established, Dominique has established, a GoFundMe page. Hiro left behind a wife.

He'd just been married a short time and a beautiful young daughter.

So our thoughts are with them.

But Dominique has set up a GoFundMe page to help with the funeral expenses.
