The Hello, I am your host, Claire Wild, and I'm here today. We're talking to David Haley, who is the assistant manager of Celtic FC Women.

David has been with the women's side since 2009, so I've seen a lot of changes take place over the years.

We've obviously been covering a lot of the changes that have happened over the last couple of years.

We are planning a more extended conversation at some point,

but we are mainly here today to talk about the big story, what everyone's talking about,

the Champions League game against Levanti coming up on Wednesday.

How are you doing?

I'm okay. Thank you. I'm okay. Excited and stressed at the same time. Excited, nervous and stress, I imagine.

Yeah, all three together. When are you all traveling out? So we travel tomorrow, tomorrow morning,

around about 10 o'clock. um yeah we should uh should get to

Norway around about about one o'clock maybe roughly yeah right yeah it's all getting very real

now isn't it yeah exactly what one of the other players actually said that is it it's sad to say, but now that the league fixture yesterday is done and dusted, then it's, yeah, as I say, it's getting pretty real now.

So it's good.

You've been at Celtic with the women's team for over a decade and you've obviously been working really closely with Fran since he was appointed and you know sort of aiming for these big goals and Champions League has been one

of the ambitions since the side went professional. As someone who's kind of been around for a while

and seen a lot of things change, what what does it mean to you personally, first of all, to be

taking a team out to the Champions

League?
