Austin, Lloyd Austin, told the gathering of top security officials that war

with China was neither imminent nor unavoidable, despite

rapidly escalating tensions in the Asia Pacific region.

Secretary Austin put forward the open palm to the Chinese PLA Navy Air Force Army and the Chinese

Communist Party.

Well, I wouldn't expect China to return that,

and China's foreign minister, or rather China's defense minister, made it pretty clear

that they still have their same goals for stopping Taiwan independence.

He talked about restraint,

but talked about there being a limit.

And I think for Secretary Austin,
