We welcome our colleague Rick Fisher writing at Epoch Times about the People's Republic of

China's nuclear arsenal. And while we hesitate to exaggerate its strength as far as North America.

Rick is attending to the regional question of Asia, not your Asia,

Asia, and that's significance.

You report that China has nuclear superiority.

What does that mean for Asia and for China?

Was that an ambition or just a result of them building all those silos?

Yes.

My article for Epic Times basically describes how China has regional nuclear

security in Asia.

At a strategic level, the United States still has more warheads,

although China is catching up and could very well catch up to the United States by the end of the decade.

But in terms of regional nuclear weapons, shorter-range nuclear weapons, China in my opinion is far

superior to the United States.

And what this means is that

I'm very concerned and as I understand earlier this year in the National Assembly

formed a discussion group of lawmakers looking into how

would they build their own nuclear deterrent.
