Fraser Howey, the co-author of Red Capitalism, the fragile financial foundations of China's

extraordinary rise.

Part of that fragility is where in the world is Balfan, a billionaire, the chief executive

of China Renaissance holdings.

And for several days last week, the question was open.

Where's he gone?

Gordon, do we know where he is now?

Because suddenly there was some question about his safety or perhaps his flight from China.

And as of 24 hours ago, we found out that he is in custody in China as they say, cooperating

with authorities.

We go to Fraser Howey in Europe, the BBC report, before we learned Balfan is now in custody,

the most high-profile billionaire banker has gone missing.
