This is a polite way, as I understand, of saying that China dumps and subsidizes.

Is this polite global trading imbalance?

Yes and imbalances are important because they cause the 2008

downturn and right now the IMF is worried about protectionism. It's not

worry it shouldn't be worried about protectionism which is just really a

symptom of these imbalances it should be trying to deal of these imbalances.

It should be trying to deal with the imbalances

in the first place, because we know what happened a couple

decades ago.

It's going to happen again unless we take resolute measures.
