This is CBS, I'm John Bachelot. Unidentified flying objects dominating the news these last

days. Now four downed objects. One over South Carolina. One over Alaska. Dead horse Alaska

is mentioned as a possible landing area. One over the Canadian Yukon. And now one over

Lake Huron in the Great Lakes. No common linkage between these four established and confirmed

yet. South Carolina, a balloon. But of the other three, there are various descriptions of

cylindrical or octagonal. No mention of a balloon airbag. The puzzlement continues when

we combine all of this mysterious activity with reports of laser activity over Hawaii

in these last days described as a green laser activity, not US satellite, which was a

suggestion a mapping laser, but possibly a Chinese satellite. All of this has the general

topic of surveillance, aka spying. I welcome Gordon Chang, my colleague and co-host at
