Gordon G Chang. Tariffs. The language is used routinely now in political contests, but its

technical language having to do with right now a battle with the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Communist Party, and their

predation in Asia and their plans to be predation around the world. This is an aggressive culture that uses all tools, the whole

society against its adversaries. One of those tools is cheating. Cheating on the rules of the road.

The WTO has watched this and done nothing for many decades.

However, there is an attempt now by the US at least initially to deal with the Chinese

aggression and one way is to control imports. We welcome, Gordon Jack and I welcome Alan Tonelson, our guide on manufacturing.

I tell a story.

Recently purchasing for the household a piece of furniture.

It arrived in an elaborate box package. And I was anxious at first because I thought I'd been

careful where it was made and I looked around the box and there quite clearly in big print,

made in Vietnam and my first reaction was to relax a high it's

working off soaring or friend soaring or moving it to what used to be an enemy now

is seen as a friend.
