headline in the Wall Street Journal. Iran races to sell oil stored in China. Tehran has shipped

out nearly three million barrels to raise money that could be used to shore up its allied militias in the Middle East,

writes the Wall Street Journal very carefully in these last days.

We welcome our colleague Rebecca Grant of the Lexington Institute

to interpret this sudden interest Iran has in moving stored oil in China, moving it to accounts receivable,

3 million barrels.

I mentioned one statistic I had last week from reporting on Iran, which is generally a non-transparent

country.

It was 801 or 802,000 real, the currency in Iran, to $1, which is a data way of saying the

economy's collapsed.

Do we connect that immediately to selling oil that's stored in China?

And does this look like China is doing Iran a favor? Do we connect that immediately to selling oil that's stored in China?

That says to me Iran is out of cash, and you know you can't keep nuclear centrifuges running or replenish ammunition for the hoodies

and your other nasty friends in the region without dollars. So it looks to me like what China is

doing here is giving Iran the ability to keep up some of its terror attacks and to keep going

with nuclear enrichment. I don't like it.

So this looks like the axis of resistance working together in some fashion. Is that it?
