In these last days there was a report now confirmed in Newsweek in the South China Morning

Post that a Vietnamese fishermen in a fishing boat off the coast of Vietnam were attacked by Chinese operators.

The word thug was not useful at this point.

They were beaten up, they were hit with pipes, one man broke his arm,

and then the attackers left near the Parousel Islands. Steve, a very good day to you. This is very strange behavior by

the People's Republic of China given that they've been using their Coast Guard

vessels to intimidate the Philippines and their warships to intimidate Taiwan.

This looks like a new level of aggression.

Is there any way this could be something that was not approved by the former Admiral of the South China Sea
