Church, John Tyson here. I've really enjoyed my time

with you this week on the Daily Drive podcast here at Lake Point. We've been looking at what

Jesus taught on prayer. Prayer is one of those topics that all Christians want to be good at,

but often it's really confusing. And this week we've been in Luke chapter 11 where

Jesus has given us a master class on prayer. Jesus has taught us the content of our prayer,

Lord's Prayer, he's taught us our attitude, shameless audacity, he's taught us our experience,

receiving and finding and having open doors.

And Jesus has taught us about the Father's heart, that he is for us and that he wants to give us good gifts.

So we can trust him and we can approach him.

But Jesus' last teaching in this little master class takes a bit of a left turn here.

It's quite surprising because Jesus then gets into a debate with the Pharisees about demons.

Okay, so here's what Jesus is in Luke chapter 11.

Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute.

When the demon left, the man who had been mute spoke and the crowd was amazed.

But some of them said,

by Beelzebub, the prince of demons, he is driving out demons. Others tested him by asking for a sign from heaven. And Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, any kingdom divided against itself
