Hello friends it is time for us to pray together once again we have a number of requests this morning

we're going to be praying for that I want to lift to the Lord I know you want to the Lord

I want to encourage you if you don't have time to make it

through an entire episode of one sitting that is fine hit that pause button come back to

it later when you have time and continue praying God hears our prayers no matter when we

offer them so we want to be faithful to lift up the needs of our brothers and

Well friends, I was very encouraged this morning by Psalm 115 verses 1 through 3.

In essence it says, not to us oh Lord but to your name

we give glory for your steadfast love and for your faithfulness and so we come to

our God knowing he is a king seated in heaven

over all the happenings of human activity and he is doing his will. Let's pray with that kind of faith today, knowing he will do good for his people as we ask

him to move and ask him to intervene in the situations of life.

Our Father, we begin our prayer this morning, acknowledging that you are a king. You tell us later in Psalm 115 that you sit in the heavens and you do exactly as you please.

Lord that kind of sovereignty, that kind of sovereignty that kind of power that kind of

overarching benevolence is just an amazing comfort to my soul it gives me the

ability to rest to know that you are at work, you are doing good even when I can't see it

And you have committed yourself to your people through Jesus Christ. Lord we are so
